Friends of Pendower Beach AGM and public meeting on 30th May
We are holding our first AGM on 30th May 2012 at Portscatho Memorial Hall commencing at 7.30 pm.
At the formal AGM, full Members (those who have paid a minimum subscription) will be asked to adopt the Association's constitution, approve the annual report and account for 2011 and elect trustees for the next 12 months. That part of the meeting should only take a few minutes, but we do need a minimum of 25 full Members in attendance.
You can download a copy of the constitution and the 2011 annual report and accounts.
Once the AGM is closed, we will continue with a public meeting.
The first item will be to consider what specific measures we may be able to take to protect Pendower Beach in the years ahead.
That will be followed by a discussion about whether Neighbourhood Plans, either for individual parishes or as a number of them working as a cluster, are desirable for the Roseland. Parish councillors are holding a group meeting on 15th May to discuss their views, so we should be able to provide feedback on the outcome.
Everyone is welcome, although as stated, only full Members are eligible to vote at the AGM.
