Roseland Neighbourhood Plan referendum: Thursday 20th August.

Dear supporters

I'm delighted to be able to tell you that the Roseland Plan has finally been passed by the examiner and jumped through all the hoops at Cornwall Council.  The referendum date has been set for Thursday 20th August.  This is the day when everyone on the Roseland will have their chance to vote.

The plan has been drawn up in response to what local people have asked for and reflects an overwhelming wish to protect the Roseland landscape.  As I've said before, it is our best hope of preserving the beauty of Pendower Beach and its surroundings.

So I'm writing to you now to ask you to play your part in making sure that the Roseland Plan is voted for at referendum.  The most important and obvious thing to do is to make sure you vote.  You'll find all the necessary information attached.  I know the referendum date is in the middle of the holiday season so if you're away you will need to register for a postal vote by filling in the attached form and returning it no later than 5pm on Wednesday 5th August by post to:
Electoral Services
St Austell One Stop Shop
39 Penwinnick Road
St Austell
Cornwall Pl25 5DR
If you don't have access to a computer or printer you can telephone Electoral Services on 0300 123 115 and ask them to send you a form in the post.

If you're available on Thursday 20th August to drive people who need help to the polling station please could you contact Sue Wagstaff:  On the other hand if you need assistance yourself or if you have any other queries please let me know so I can put you in touch with the Roseland Neighbourhood Plan team.

Your support and this important time is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

With all good wishes
